MSAA features the work of many talented artists affected by multiple sclerosis as part of our annual MSAA Art Showcase. Each month we share these artists’ inspiring stories and beautiful artwork with you as our Artist of the Month. This month, we celebrate Adam St. George as September’s Artist of the Month. Adam is from Menifee, CA.

About the Artist – Adam St. George
“After getting diagnosed with MS in 2010 at age 24, I quit my job as an ultrasonic inspector in the aerospace field and signed up for art classes at Otis College of Art & Design in LA to take my weekend drawing hobby to the next level. There, I would be introduced to painting, and I became hooked instantly. Painting allows me to disconnect and disassociate from any stress MS throws at me. I only have room in my thoughts for painting decisions. Being disabled doesn’t even cross my mind until I put the brush down.”
