Each year, MSAA features the work of artists affected by multiple sclerosis in the annual MS Ability and Four Seasons Art Showcases, including highlighting one artist each month as our Artist of the Month. This month, we are proud to feature Jaclyn Spencer of Ogden, UT:

About the Artist

“I have always loved art but never gave myself the chance to create it. I may have felt insecure about being any good at it because of my limitations from MS. What I actually found out was that art was therapeutic for me. It’s an escape; it’s a way to let what I feel inside come out in a productive and creative way. It no longer matters to me if I am good at it or not. It makes me feel good and that’s all that matters.”
