Just do it. I am full of cliches. I admit I lean to the dork side at times.
Time is of the essence. So grab your life by the horns and go. Time management is a key to MS. Sew it into the core fabric of your life. Nourish it like a sensitive plant. No last minute Lucy here.
Build in extra time. I hate rushing. Now is not the time. Be the turtle. Take your time and don’t rush. I drop more stuff, if I rush. If I wait for an intention tremors to pass, I can do it. Find your own rhythm.
For example, I often get up two to three hours before mass (church). Makeup, hair, clothes, medicine and breakfast. My “Barbie arm” and a leg often are stiff. I never know how easy or hard dressing for church Might be. “Get errr done” as they say.
Build in extra time. It takes me longer to do simple stuff. I can’t just walk into a building. Finding a handicapped parking space is harder than finding a needle in a hay stack. I gotta get out off the car and my helper has to set up the manual chair.
MS likes patient. Don’t rush and slow down.
Slow and steady wins the race, but life is not a race. Enjoy the journey. It is extra practice time you build really.
I rarely get eyeliner right on the first try. So, it is like practice time and I know I have time to try again. You can’t rush Eyeliner Anyway.
Pucker up buttercup and smooch that turtle. No ladies it will not turn into a handsome prince. Just try and be like it. Slow down and try to be purposeful. One step at a time. Say it out loud, if you start to rush.
