
Making overnight oats is simple and doesn’t require any cooking! This basic recipe can be customized to your liking with various add-ins and flavors.
Ingredients: one serving, combine the following in a jar or airtight container:
- 1/2 cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk of your choice (Dairy, almond, oat, or coconut).
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (Optional, for extra creaminess and protein).
- 1 tablespoon Chia seeds (Optional, helps thicken the mixture).
- 1 teaspoon Sweetener (Maple syrup, honey, or agave).
- 1/4 teaspoon of Vanilla extract.
- Add-in ideas- chocolate chips, granola, berries, banana, nut butter.
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a jar and stir or shake well until no clumps remain.
- Seal the lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but ideally overnight for the best results.
- Give it a stir in the morning. If it is too thick, add a splash of milk. Add your fresh toppings and enjoy cold.
