Home for the Holidays

Guys, it’s November. Um, what?!

I can’t believe we are already in the month of November. It seems like just yesterday we were in the month of March, and the entire country was quarantining. Now here we are in November with the country opened up a little bit more, and we have officially entered into the holiday season. So, now that most of us will be home for the holidays, let’s talk about ways we can still connect with loved ones during this holiday season.

Handwritten Notes In the Mail

There is something so fun and heart-warming about receiving a hand-written note in the mail, especially when it is from a loved one. If you find that you are missing those hugs from your family members during this holiday season, try writing them a hand-written note. Seal the note with love, and mail it to your loved ones.

Virtual Watch Party

To connect with your long-distanced loved ones, you can throw a virtual watch party and have everyone agree on one movie to watch on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, you name it. Then everyone can start the movie at the same time on the same day and have a group call to talk about the movie afterwards. It’s fun bonding time!

Open Presents Together Virtually

Opening presents together with family is such a special time of bonding and connection. Doing this virtually over Facetime or Zoom is a great way to stay connected with family without losing that special moment of seeing the look of happiness on your loved ones face.

Now that we’ve talked about ways to makes the best of being home for the holidays, let’s all have fun with it on purpose!

Remember friends, “Tis the season!”
