About the Artist – Vanessa Willison

“Photography has always reminded me to be aware that art surrounds us everywhere, during every moment, and life is sublime. Especially in the unexpected details.

Not to sound all pretentious, but I’ve been an artist for most of my life. Jewelry, sculpture, photography, collage. My passion was working with metal, but multiple sclerosis changed that path in life. For the past few years, I’ve been focusing on photography because it works with my daily challenges and provides a creative outlet that is not too physically demanding.”
