MSAA features the work of many talented artists affected by multiple sclerosis as part of our annual MSAA Art Showcase. We share these artists’ inspiring stories and beautiful artwork with you each month as our Artist of the Month. We celebrate AnnaMarie Prono as the October Artist of the Month this month. AnnaMarie is from Forest Hills, NY.

“I’ve lived with MS since 1992. I am a registered architect and artist. I can no longer work as a construction manager in New York City. I enjoy drawing and painting and find peace when engaged in such activities.

I participate in the virtual art sessions offered by the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America. I love learning new techniques and meeting other artists living with MS. I also like to get involved in online artist challenges on social media. Last year, I was engaged in online art therapy with other people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I found this both helpful and inspiring.”
