Easy Grilled Peaches

recipe of the month from MSAA

This Easy Grilled Peaches recipe takes less than 10 minutes and intensifies the natural sweetness of summer fruit with a smoky, caramelized flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe but firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil (or any neutral high-heat oil)
  • 2 tbsp honey (or pure maple syrup)
  • ΒΌ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high heat. Clean and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves lightly with avocado oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Cook undisturbed for 4 to 5 minutes until distinct grill marks form and the fruit begins to soften.
  4. Flip the peaches over. Drizzle the honey directly into the pit cavities and dust with cinnamon. Grill for another 2 to 3 minutes until the skins are tender.
  5. Remove from the grill, sprinkle with a pinch of flaky sea salt, and serve warm.
