About the Artist: Karen Pagen Cruz – Manchester, NH 

“Hi, my name is Karen. I am 31 years old, and I was diagnosed with MS and lupus at the age of 15. I have been disabled for 2 years. Art has always been my escape, my passion. Art helps me express myself. It helps improve my mental health, self-esteem, and confidence. It encourages me to understand my emotions. And it gives meaning to my life.”
